Montana (Blue
Aussie)
She was noticed to
have a little occasional pain in her right back leg, we
think she was probably nipped by a car where she lived
before. She runs and jumps all the time.
Montana was ex-rayed
and found to have bilateral hip displagia. She will need new
him sockets and joints. This is very expensive, around $2500
for each socket/joint.

Born Aug 2, 2000 in
NC; bought and brought to TN. Lived on a semi-farm but not
given a lot of attention or discipline. She is microchipped,
spayed, utd on shots and heart worm negative. Now doing
great. No abuse. Great great dog. Loves to chase a ball and
play. Gets along great with other dogs, very playful. Very
puppy - always moving. She's housebroken. Sweet and
absolutely beautiful.
Update 11/22/02
I've raised $378 of the $5000. She is doing well. She is
able to run and play. Her back and leg muscles have gotten
stronger and she is now better balanced. She will still need
the surgery but seems to be managing well. She doesn't seem
to be in pain.
